My past research has focused on the optical properties of aerosol particles and the chemistry of reactive trace gases. I have deployed custom in situ and remote sensing instruments from ground-based and aircraft platforms.
Often my research has required new instrument development. I have published six first-author papers and three second- or final-author papers describing new instruments and instrumental methods. These papers appeared in Review of Scientific Instruments, Atmospheric Measurement Techniques, Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, and Environmental Science and Technology.
